Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of Halo (halocontour.com), a browser-based contour cut-path studio operated by Sticker My Life of Mesa, Arizona, USA ("we", "us"). By using Halo, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Halo traces artwork you provide, lets you tune a contour cut path, and exports cut-ready files. The studio's tracing, live preview, and PNG export are free to use. Vector exports (spot-color PDF and SVG) require an active paid access pass.
2. Access pass and billing
- The access pass is a monthly subscription billed through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar's own terms apply to the payment itself.
- After checkout you receive an access key by email. Keep it private — it's your responsibility not to share it, and we may revoke keys that are shared or abused.
- You can cancel anytime through the Polar customer portal. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep export access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Prices may change; we'll give existing subscribers notice before any change affects a renewal.
3. Your artwork
You keep full ownership of any artwork you bring into Halo. We claim no rights to it. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to use the artwork you process — don't use Halo to prepare content you don't have permission to reproduce.
4. Check your files before production
Halo generates cut paths automatically, and every RIP, cutter, material, and blade setup is different. Always inspect the exported file and run a test cut before committing a production run. You are responsible for verifying that exported files behave correctly on your equipment. We're a print shop too — we know a bad cut wastes material — but we can't be responsible for material, media, or production losses.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, circumvent the export paywall or license checks, resell access to Halo, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that violates these terms.
6. Availability
We work hard to keep Halo up, but it's provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time; if we ever discontinue the paid service entirely, active subscribers won't be billed further.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sticker My Life is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including wasted media, lost production time, or lost profits — arising from your use of Halo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use Halo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
